The purpose of the Rally is to protest the national gathering of the extreme right-wing group called Americans for Prosperity (Koch Brothers) and their anti-worker agenda to make Right to Work the law of Ohio and the entire country.

Americans for Prosperity is holding its national Summit at the Columbus Convention Center and one of the conference sessions is entitled, “Right to Work: Understanding the Case for Worker Freedom of Choice.” With several high-profile presidential hopefuls and office holders already confirmed to speak at this Summit, including U.S. Senator Rob Portman, we need to send a very clear message that Ohioans reject this anti-worker message and any candidate that is associated with this extreme agenda.

We will assemble between 9:00 - 9:30 a.m. at McFerson Commons in the Arena District of downtown Columbus. Brief comments and instructions will be provided, then at 10:00 a.m. we will march three blocks to the Columbus Convention Center. While on the public space on the west side of the Convention Center we will hold a short speaking program and rally to “Defend the American Dream“.

Buses from around the state will he headed to the rally.
