It has been an incredible honor and privilege to work with all of you during the past two and a half years. In the face of great adversity, and some of the most tumultuous years in our Party’s history, we have been able to accomplish some pretty amazing things together. I have relished the opportunity to serve you and to fight alongside you for progressive values in our communities. And because of our hard work together, I am proud to say that we are stronger now than when I started.
That is why it is with mixed emotions that I must announce my resignation from my post as your Executive Director today. On Monday, I am excited to begin a new chapter of public service as an Assistant Prosecutor in the Summit County Prosecutor’s Office.
I would like to thank all of you for your innumerable hours of service to this organization during my time here. Special thanks go out to Jeff Fusco for taking a chance and putting his trust in me, to Chris Grimm for his countless words of advice and encouragement, and to Nikki Sipe, Bailey Sandin, Hope Lane, and Sarah Rubens for all of their help around the office. To everyone else who has helped at a fundraiser, helped at a Central Committee Meeting, canvassed for one of our candidates, phone banked, stuffed letters, or shared their time and talents in some other way, thank you from the bottom of my heart.
We have a lot of work ahead of us in the coming years, and I am confident that, together, we will continue to accomplish great things. I couldn't be prouder of the leadership team we have in place now, and I know they're poised to take us to new heights! In the coming days, I will be assisting our officers with the hiring and on-boarding of a new Executive Director to help shape the next chapter of this organization.
I am eternally grateful for the opportunity to have gotten to know all of you, and I look forward to continuing to do so. Please know that I am never more than a phone call away should you need anything.
Sincerely, and with gratitude,
